AGNES MARIE DOHERTY, 78, of 966 Noland Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the Washington County Hospital. Born April 2, 1930 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late Forrest M. and Viola V. Itnyre Bond. She was employed with Fairchild, retiring in 1983. She was of the Protestant faith. She is survived by her husband, Daniel J. Doherty of fifty-three years; two sons, Dennis Leslie Doherty of Hagerstown, and Daniel Patrick Doherty of Manchester, Maryland; one sister, Regina Stoneberger of Chewsville, Maryland; one brother, Forrest Bond, Jr. of Hagerstown; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert O. Bond, and Donald W. Bond. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Alan N. Clingan will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 6 to 8 p. m.
