ADRIAN CLAY MINER, 93, of 18318 Summerlin Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at his home. Born May 26, 1916 in Hagerstown, MD, he was the son of the late Oscar and Mary Weller Miner. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Navy. He retired Fairchild Aircraft. He was a member of Otterbein United Methodist Church. He is survived by his wife, Emily Frances Michael Miner. He was preceded in death by four sisters, Alma Walker Burke, Zola Frick, Mary Cline and Madeline Dusing; one brother, Oscar Miner. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, MD. The Rev. Dr. Stephen D. Robison will officiate. There will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangement by the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD.
