WILLARD CONLEY, 89, of Hagerstown, passed away Wednesday, June 30 at Washington County Hospital. Born May 30, 1921 in Logan, West Virginia, he was the last surviving child of Dewey and Betty Conley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Sixeas Conley; two sons, Wayne Willard and Harry Michael; and seventeen brothers and sisters. He was employed over the years at Western Maryland Railroad, Potomac Dye and Finishing, and Brandt Cabinet Works. He was a lifetime member of Funkstown American Legion Post 211, and Amvets Post 10. He was a WW II veteran, serving in the U. S. Army. He is survived by three daughters, Susan E. Phillips, Mona L. Phillips, Carla L. Green, and husband, Robert Green, Jr.; one son, Blake A. Conley, and companion, Jane Davis, all of Hagerstown. He is survived by his nine grandchildren, and thirteen great-grandchildren, and pet buddies, Ernie and Mickey. Funeral services will be held at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown on Saturday at 11:00 a. m. The Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted at the cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
