RUTHANNA RIDENOUR, 83 of Hagerstown, MD, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at Williamsport Nursing Home in Williamsport, MD. Born December 9, 1929 in Williamsport, MD she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Agnes Taylor Brant. She was of the protestant faith. She worked as a legal secretary when she was younger. Ruthanna had a short singing career on a local radio station. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Ridenour; a daughter, Teresa Holloway and husband Ronald of DE; a son, J. Brant Ridenour and wife Darlene of Hagerstown; and one grandchild, Joseph Holloway; one niece Ellen Brant and one nephew Chris South; brother in law Charles South. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances South, Melcora Gruber and Lillian; and one brother, Joseph Brant. There will be no services.
