ROBERT LITTLETON, JR., 82, beloved father and grandfather, of Hagerstown, Maryland, went to be with his Savior on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Williamsport Retirement Village in Williamsport, Maryland. Born August 30, 1930, in Miller's Crossroads, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Blanche Fraley. He was preceded in death by his wife of fifty-three years, Harriet Littleton on December 5, 2009. He attended Hagerstown High School. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the U. S. Army. He was stationed in Korea, Germany, and Japan. He was previously employed at Fairchild in St. Augustine, Florida, and Wonder Bread of Hagerstown for thirty-two years, retiring in 1992. He was a member of Hagerstown Bible Church, and a shining light for his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. He was an avid golfer and Orioles fan. He is survived by one daughter, Holly Brunner, and husband, Chris, of Hagerstown; one granddaughter, Rebekah Hartt, and husband, Stephen, of Waynesboro, Pennsylvania; one grandson, Christopher Brunner, and wife, Kelly, of Hagerstown; one great-grandchild to be in July, Benjamin Christopher Hartt; one cousin, Bob Custer of Hagerstown; two step-daughters, Lana Jarvis of Colechester, Vermont, and Starr Beauvais of Lynn, Massachusetts; three half-sisters; and three half-brothers. He was preceded in death by one stepdaughter, Ginger Fleury. The family would like to thank the following for their special care: Julia Manor and Broadmore Assisted Living. Sincere appreciation for the love and care provided during his final days by Williamsport Retirement Village and Hospice of Washington County. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00 p. m. Wednesday at Hagerstown Bible Church, 203 Summit Avenue, Hagerstown. The Rev. Dale R. Carver will officiate. There will be no viewing.
