ROBERT DANIEL BECKLEY, JR., 66, of 9103 Bob Lane, Fairplay, Maryland, died on Wednesday, May 3, 2006 at his home. Born June 25, 1939 in Huyetts Crossroads, Maryland, he was the son of the late Robert Daniel Beckley, Sr. and Katherine Elizabeth Foltz Beckley. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen (Bonnie) Jones Beckley on April 25, 2003. He was a member of the Salem Reformed Church. He was retired from the family farm in 1989, and was currently employed with Tractor Supply in Hagerstown. He was a member of the Washington County Farm Bureau, the Fairplay Fire Department, and the Washington County Fire Police. He is survived by one daughter, Vickie Wiles, and husband, Robert, of Fairplay, Maryland; two sons, Robert D. Beckley, III, and wife, Wendi, of Fairplay, Maryland, and Scott Beckley, and wife, Melanie, of Williamsport, Maryland; one sister, Nancy Forsythe of Hagerstown; three granddaughters and five grandsons; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Monday at the Salem Reformed Church. Rev. Steve Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Reformed Church Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard on Sunday from 7 to 9 p. m., and one hour prior to the service at the church.
