PAULINE FLANARY, 84, of 17014 Hillsdale Court, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Monday, May 21, 2007 at the Pendleton Nursing Home in Pendleton, West Virginia. Born May 24, 1923 in Lee County, Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Ephraim Tyler and Nellie Mae Moore Cope. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Melvin Flanary on January 14, 1995. She is survived by six daughters, Irene Hise and Edie Harper, both of Franklin, West Virginia, Sheila Allison of Florida, Inez Flanary of Virginia, Brenda Faye Flanary of New Jersey, and Freda Flanary of Martinsburg, West Virginia; one sister, Rosie Helen Cope of Big Stone Gap, Virginia; one brother, Coby C. Cope of Mansfield, Tennessee; twelve grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Marcum, and two brothers, John Cope and Starlin Cope. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p. m. Thursday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Louis L. Emerick will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Williamsport, Maryland.
