PAUL WOODROW HESS, 64, of 815 Armstrong Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Saturday, July 20, 2006 at his temporary residence on Kenly Avenue. Born March 13, 1942 in Maryland, he was the son of Paul G. Hess of Hagerstown, and the late Kathryn Loughery Hess. He was a graduate of South Hagerstown High School. He was retired from the Internal Revenue Service in Martinsburg, West Virginia, after thirty-five years. He attended Virginia Avenue Baptist Church. In addition to his father, he is survived by two cousins, Rev. Reginald Rice of Emmitsburg, Maryland, and Bud Hess of Hagerstown; a friend, Jackie Crabtree of Hagerstown; and many other dear friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at the MINNICH FUNERAL HOME, 415 East Wilson Boulevard. Rev. Reginald Rice will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 7 to 9 p. m.
