MIRIAM VORREYER, 82, of 719 Largo Drive, Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Washington County Hospital. Born March 22, 1928 in Little Mountain, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late John and Anita Cumalander. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Vorreyer in 1994. She was a teacher for over thirty years in the New Jersey school board. She is survived by one daughter, Anita Vorreyer, PhD., of Atlanta, Georgia; one son, Frederick Vorreyer of Hagerstown; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a. m. Tuesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown. Rev. David B. Kaplan will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
