MARILYN SUE SHIVES, 64, of Hagerstown, MD, died, Friday, February 21, 2014 at her home. Born November 15, 1949 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late William E. Lushbaugh, Jr. and Ellen Mae Hill Lushbaugh. Marilyn was a 1967 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She was previously employed with Hafer's Corner and Antietam Cable Television. She formerly attended Christ Lutheran Church in Hagerstown, MD. She was a member of AMVETS Post 10 Auxiliary, Moose International and Red Feather of Williamsport. She is survived by her husband, Larry Shives of Val Rico, FL; a daughter, Stacie A. Wolfe and husband, David of Greencastle, PA; a son, Douglas Rhodes and wife, Gina of Clarksville, TN; three, brothers, Larry Lushbaugh, Richard Lushbaugh and Raymond Lushbaugh; four grandchildren, Tara Roberts, Aaron Rhodes, Sarah Wolfe and Abigail Wolfe; and two great grandchildren, Wyatt and Zoe-Jane. She was preceded in death by a brother, Williams E. Lushbaugh, III. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD. Pastor William W. DeHass will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
