M. REGINA MINNICH, 82 of Salem Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland, died Saturday, March 8, 2008 at Charlotte's Home in Maugansville, Maryland. Born March 21, 1925 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late D. Earl and Margaret E. Hoover Neikirk. She was preceded in death by her husband of thirty-five years, Joseph R. Minnich, Jr. in 1982. In earlier years she worked for W.T. Grant Department Store in Hagerstown, MD. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 211 Funkstown. She is survived three daughters, JoEllen Kline of Greencastle, PA, Carol L. Minnich of Silver Spring, MD and Susan R. Minnich-Allen of Hagerstown, MD; two grandchildren and one great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by one sister, S. Elizabeth Guild; two brothers, Robert A. Neikirk and Ralph V. Neikirk. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown, Maryland. The Rev. D. Fred Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Evercare Hospice, 6095 Marshalee Drive, Elkridge, Maryland 21075.
