LUCIE ANDERSON, 89, of 12513 Garrow Drive, Clear Spring, Maryland, died on Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Julia Manor Nursing Home. Born December 10, 1923, in Mt. Vernon, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Christina Gaccione Bruno. She was retired from McDonald Douglas in 1987. Lucie was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was a member of the Legion of Mary. She is survived by one daughter, Jackie May, and husband, Larry, of Clear Spring; one son, Douglas Anderson, and wife, Lucy, of Long Beach, California; one brother, George Bruno of Millbrook, New York; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four sisters, Anna Bruno, Gloria Eskildsen and her twin, Rita Bliss, and Nancy Barnett; and six brothers, Pat Bruno, John Bruno, Frank Bruno, Charles Bruno, and Petter Bruno, and James Bruno. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a. m. Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. J. Collin Poston will be celebrant. Burial will be in Rest Haven Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p. m. Friday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 East Wilson Boulevard, Hagerstown.
