Jacqueline "Jackie" Ann Witmer, 76, of Hagerstown, MD, passed away at Meritus Medical Center on Friday, June 15, 2018. Born April 21, 1942 in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Gilbert A. and S. Louise (Murray) Winters. Jackie was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Paul Witmer on July 2, 2008. She was proud to have graduated from South Hagerstown High School with the first class to have spent all four years at South High. She retired as a cafeteria worker at South Hagerstown High School. Jackie is survived by her son, Pete Witmer and wife, Susan; daughter, Sandra Witmer; three grandsons, Michael Starner and wife, Carol, Justin Starner, and Brian Starner; one granddaughter, Sarah Louise Witmer; one great grandson, Paul Starner; three nieces; and many great nieces. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, James Winters, Sr.; and nephew, James Winters, Jr. There are no services planned at this time.
