FRANCES VIRGINIA NORRIS, 86, of Sharpsburg, MD, passed away Friday, February 13, 2015 at her home. Born February 6, 1929, in Washington County, MD, she was the daughter of the late David Luther and Margaret Frances Hebb Starleper. Frances was a member of Sandy Hook Methodist Church. She was an avid genealogist. She was the first person to catalog the Washington County Cemeteries. Her work can be found in the Washington County Library. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett J. Norris. Frances is survived by two daughters, Betty Belinda Wenner and husband, Thomas and Melanie Frances Heron and husband, Carl; three sons, Everett Eric Norris and wife, Pam, James "Skeets" Norris and wife, Theresa and Sammy Lee Norris and wife, Laura; one brother, Wesley Starleper; twelve grandchildren, Loren Norris, wife , Ann, Stephanie McGee, Toby Wenner, wife, Michelle, Brandy Wenner, Jamie Norris, Donnie Norris, Timothy Heron, Christopher Heron, Sabrina Heron, Matthew Heron, Jeremy Hartung, Travis Hartung and wife, Amber; and twelve great-grandchildren, Lyndsey Ecton, Kailey Norris, Victoria Robinson, Chris Quante, Haley Hester, Elijah Wenner, Colin Norris, Samantha Norris, Riley Hartung, Owen Hartung, Kamdyn Hartung, Koby Hartung. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one great grandson, Gabriel Everett Wenner; four brothers, David "Peck" Starleper, Robert "Tuck" Starleper , Samuel "Shorty" Starleper and James "Jim" Starleper. Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2015 at the Brownsville Church of the Brethren, 1911 Rohrersville Rd., Knoxville, MD. Rev. Doug Fraim will officiate.
