Donna Rae Reed, 64, of Hedgesville, WV, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at Berkeley Medical Center. She went peacefully to meet her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She had one last wish no regrets and no more tears, she is happy in Heaven She was born on May 29, 1950, in Hagerstown, MD, the daughter of the late William Woodcock and Betty (Shaffer) Woodcock. Donna was a member of Sharpsburg Bible Church for many years. She was a 1968 graduate of North Hagerstown High School. She retired from Bernstein Management where she managed the apartment complex at 1301 Massachusetts Avenue and was loved by every tenant and co-worker. She is survived by her two loving children, Dianna Kai Moore, of Hedgesville, WV, and Gary Wayne Moore Jr., and wife, Cheryl , of Clear Spring, MD; two stepdaughters, Lori Sargent, and husband, Fred, of New Hampshire, and Cheryl Stoner, and husband, Greg, of Kent Island, MD; three granddaughters, Stacy Lynn Stevens, Katlyn Moore and Faith Moore; two great-grandchildren, Victoria Lynn Harpine and Jamison Calvin Harpine; a brother, David Woodcock, of Hagerstown, MD; two sisters, Peggy Myers, of Sharpsburg, MD, and Betsy Garling, of Williamsport, MD; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Max Reed; and a brother, William "Billy" Woodcock. Thanks to all my family and friends who have been part of my life, special thanks to my classmates of 1968 that I met with monthly. Special love to my best friend, Sandy Leggett, and also close cousin, Bessie Niswander. A special thanks to every doctor and nurse on the 6th floor at the Berkeley Medical Center, we couldn't have asked for better care and the feeling of true, genuine love. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1pm Saturday, May 16, 2015 at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
