CONSTANCE LOUISE COMER, 70, of Hagerstown, Maryland, died on Sunday, June 12, 2005 at her home. Born May 13, 1935 in Hagerstown, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William L. Messner and Vivian Messner Reynolds. She was a 1953 graduate of Hagerstown High School where she enjoyed acting in school plays and playing intramural sports. She enjoyed music, movies and spending time with her grandchildren. She went to work for Mack Truck in 1961 where she worked as a secretary, retiring in 1986. She was a life long member of the First Baptist Church in Hagerstown. She sang in the Adult Choir for many years, and she also taught Sunday School. She was a member of the 9 and 90 Sunday School Class. She was also a member of the Merri-Macks, and the Ladies of the Elks and Associates. She is survived by her husband, Robert F. Comer, Sr.; one daughter, Cynthia M. Parr, and husband, Thomas M. Parr, of Finksburg, Maryland; one son, Robert F. Comer, Jr. of Baltimore, Maryland; one sister, Marlene Lawson of Hagerstown; three granddaughters, Erin Marie Parr, Kasey Lynn Parr, and Kelly Ann Parr, all of Finksburg, Maryland. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church, 15 High Street, Hagerstown. Rev. Thom C. Smith will officiate. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no viewing.
